Coursecado Instructor Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Coursecado! These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") outline the rights, responsibilities, and expectations for instructors who publish courses on the Coursecado platform. By creating and publishing courses, you agree to abide by these terms.
1. Instructor Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have the legal right to offer educational content.
- Ensure the content you provide complies with all applicable laws.
2. Course Content Requirements
- Courses must be original and not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights.
- You must provide high-quality educational content that aligns with Coursecado’s standards.
- Course content should be structured, complete, and professionally presented.
- No offensive, illegal, or inappropriate material is allowed.
3. Revenue Sharing & Payments
- Coursecado follows a 60/40 revenue-sharing model, where instructors receive 60% of the course revenue.
- Revenue is calculated after deducting transaction fees, platform fees, and applicable taxes.
- Payments are processed on a monthly basis via Paypal/Visa/Master Card.
- Minimum payout threshold: 25$.
4. Course Pricing & Promotions
- Instructors may set their course price, but Coursecado reserves the right to offer promotions and discounts.
- Coursecado will market and advertise courses at no cost to the instructor.
- Instructors cannot sell the same course at a significantly lower price on competing platforms.
5. Instructor Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself and your courses.
- Engage with students by answering questions and providing support when needed.
- Ensure that your courses remain updated and relevant.
- Comply with Coursecado’s policies and guidelines.
6. Ownership & Licensing
- Instructors retain full ownership of their course content.
- By uploading content, you grant Coursecado a non-exclusive, worldwide license to market and distribute your course.
7. Content Removal & Termination
- Coursecado reserves the right to remove any course that violates its policies or fails to meet quality standards.
- Instructors may request course removal, but they must provide a 30-day notice.
- If an instructor breaches this agreement, Coursecado may suspend or terminate their account without prior notice.
8. Prohibited Activities
- Instructors must NOT upload plagiarized or copyrighted content without proper licensing.
- Provide misleading information or make false claims.
- Engage in fraud, abuse, or deceptive practices.
- Collect students’ personal information for unauthorized purposes.
9. Liability & Indemnification
- Coursecado is not responsible for any disputes, legal claims, or liabilities arising from an instructor’s content.
- Instructors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coursecado from any legal claims, damages, or losses related to their courses.
10. Amendments & Updates
- Coursecado reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Instructors will be notified of any significant changes.
- Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
